Autodesk Revit Worksharing Monitor for Revit 2013
Autodesk Revit Worksharing Monitor facilitates the use of Revit software in a file-based worksharing environment, in which multiple people work on one project. For workshared projects, the Autodesk Revit Worksharing Monitor answers questions like the following:
- Who is currently working on this project?
- Is my local copy of the project up to date?
- When will my Synchronize with Central operation finish?
- Has my request to borrow elements been granted?
- Are any issues interfering with my work on a Revit project?
Autodesk Revit Worksharing Monitor works with all Revit products, including Revit Architecture,Revit MEP, and Revit Structure. If you are working on one or more workshared Revit projects, install Autodesk Revit Worksharing Monitor on your computer. When you open a workshared project in the Revit software, also start Autodesk Revit Worksharing Monitor. (Using Autodesk Revit Worksharing Monitor with worksharing projects is not required, but it is strongly recommended.)

Autodesk Revit Model Review
is a plug-in for the Revit platform that validates the accuracy and
consistency of your project(s), including correction options, which
ensures your model is complete and correct.
Model Review performs checking and correcting of your project model(s) by:
- Validate the accuracy and consistency of the Model against project, firm, industry and user-defined standards
- Configure the checks to match your requirements at any point in time
- Check models received from others to verify quality and adherence to a chosen set of standards
- Report and optionally correct inaccuracies and inconsistencies within your model(s)
- Identify areas for improvement by running project reports as you and your team work
There
are pre-defined checks that come with the application. You, or your
BIM System Coordinator, can create or edit the check files with various
options, including correction, using the "Manage" interface (optional
installation, please see the Manage BIM Standards section for more details).

Autodesk Revit GlobeLink for revit 2013
Any building created in
Revit ultimately exists on a site somewhere in the world. Google Earth is a
very powerful visualization tool that presents the Earth and allows you to zoom
in and inspect almost any location in the world. Through Autodesk
Revit GlobeLink, the site information needed in Revit modeling is acquired from
Google Earth, and a Revit building information model is published into Google
Earth. Allowing Revit family-based products to interoperate with Google Earth, Autodesk
Revit GlobeLink offers a great opportunity for visualization. Autodesk
Revit GlobeLink also imports and exports Google Earth Keyhole Markup Language
(KML) or KMZ (zipped KML) files

Revit Extensions for Autodesk Revit 2013- full release
Revit® Extensions for Autodesk® Revit® 2013 extend the capabilities of
Autodesk® Revit® 2013, Autodesk® Revit® Architecture 2013, Autodesk®
Revit® MEP 2013, and Autodesk® Revit® Structure 2013 software in key
areas, including structural analysis, modeling, reinforcement,
interoperability and construction documentation. This download contains
all previously released Revit Extensions and updates (see all the Autodesk Subscription posts
on this blog for additional details). In addition, this download
includes enhancements to the positioning extension and improvements to
the reinforcement extensions (dynamic model update, beam reinforcement).
Positioning
The positioning extension has been enhanced to take into account a new
element type of “fabric sheet” which has been implemented in Autodesk
Revit 2013 software products. Elements can be grouped according to their
family types, sizes and materials.
Reinforcement of Beams
An enhanced feature has been implemented to help detect supports for
beams. The support analysis is performed on the bottom plane of a beam
which is appropriate for slanted and vertical columns. Additionally,
walls are considered as potential supports.
Enhancements have been implemented to Reinforcement modules and take into account:
Element selection by the analytical model
The 3d view can be defined as a view with only the analytical model
visible in the same manner as the Revit standard template Structural
Analysis-Default.rte. It is now possible to select an element and apply
reinforcement to it.
Maintaining rebar settings after modification
After generating reinforcement using Revit Extensions the user can set
attributes for generated rebar. Now the following properties: Schedule
Mark, Visibility States, Comments and Mark are maintained after
modification.
Dynamic Model Update
After geometric changes to the host element the update of reinforcement
is performed. The reinforcement is reapplied using the same parametric
data. Settings for this mechanism are set at the project level in Revit
Extension Preferences (project settings) and at the element level on the
module dialog (element settings). Information about the current action
is displayed on the Revit Extension progress bar visible when analysis
or generation is in progress. A detailed description can be found in
module help files.

- Reinforcement of Beams
- Reinforcement of Columns
- Reinforcement of Spread footing
- Reinforcement of Wall.
