Any building created in Revit ultimately exists on a site somewhere in the world. Google Earth is a very powerful visualization tool that presents the Earth and allows you to zoom in and inspect almost any location in the world. Through Autodesk Revit GlobeLink, the site information needed in Revit modeling is acquired from Google Earth, and a Revit building information model is published into Google Earth. Allowing Revit family-based products to interoperate with Google Earth, Autodesk Revit GlobeLink offers a great opportunity for visualization. Autodesk Revit GlobeLink also imports and exports Google Earth Keyhole Markup Language (KML) or KMZ (zipped KML) files
